We are scaling up the production of FPV
drones and equipment to respond quickly and accurately to the needs of the front. We deliberately focus on
quality over quantity — because lives depend on it, and every mission must succeed. Well-built FPV drones
are a low-cost yet deadly effective weapon that changes the course of the war every day.
2. Adaptation through action
We create a space for veterans and
recovering soldiers — a familiar environment where they can gain new skills, work alongside their peers, and
continue the fight in a different form.
3. Built “as for ourselves”
Our drones are developed by pilots for
pilots. They are born out of real combat experience, a deep understanding of pilot needs, and a drive to
save lives. Quality, reliability, and trust — with no compromises.
Who We Work With
The Freya Workshop is a space created for:
Veterans and active-duty soldiers
looking to gain a new, relevant profession;
Wounded and recovering fighters
who want to remain useful here and now;
Family members and loved ones of
military personnel who wish to contribute;
FPV pilots seeking high-quality,
community-based production and a chance to upgrade their skills.
We offer:
A basic engineering course in
building FPV drones from scratch — held in Kyiv
fCommunity support and sharing of
real combat experience
Mobile training programs for FPV
crews in frontline areas
Even if you know nothing about drones yet
— but have motivation and a bit of time — we're waiting for you.
Training Program
The course combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. It is designed to prepare
participants from scratch for independently building FPV drones.
What participants will gain:
Practical skills in soldering and
working with radio electronics
A solid understanding of the
structure and logic behind FPV drones
A new profession and the support
of a like-minded community
Involvement in the production of
real combat-ready drones — for comrades, for the front line
Thought leader, FPV piloting instructor, communicator
ANHELINA HUSAR
Sometimes it seems to us that Angelina knows almost all the cool people who have made a significant
contribution to the development of the UAV industry in the country. It was she who came up with the
idea of creating a workshop.
• In civilian life, she received a PhD in English and Swedish, wrote a dissertation on
Scandinavian mythology, and opened a Swedish language school with friends, which is still successfully
operating. In 2013-14, on the Maidan, she was part of the Night Watch activist team.
• She met the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Lviv while studying at UCU. As a
volunteer, she helped evacuate civilians from difficult places, and together with her colleagues, she
organized a hub to support IDPs.
• However, this was not enough for Angelina, she wanted to be "closer to the front". So, in
January 2023, she went to a reconnaissance vehicle piloting course, and later, as part of the Victory
Drones volunteer team, she helped develop an FPV training program at 190NC and worked as an FPV piloting
instructor. In the summer, she went to the East to train Marines. Later, she joined the UDA unit. Until
the end of December 2023, she worked with one Marine Corps unit, whose soldiers helped to "believe in
FPV" and at the same time adopted military experience and understanding of how everything works in the
sector.
• “When I returned to Kyiv, I decided that it was necessary to teach as many people as
possible how to use drones effectively. It is necessary to assemble and configure this new weapon so
that the guys do not have to redo everything on the front line in difficult conditions.”😜 She told her
idea to Valentina and Sergey, and they turned out to be "moderately crazy" to agree to implement this.
• "I am constantly looking for ways to more effectively influence the situation in which
our country now finds itself, and how to make sure that we finally win and the war ends. War is such a
waste. There are so many interesting and wonderful things in the world that you want to do, and not just
that."
• Thanks to Angelina, the Workshop has ambitions and plans to expand the project to the
whole country, so that every soldier who returns to peaceful life for various reasons can continue to
fight for our truth in a new way and create effective weapons among their people.
Chief Engineer, Coordinator, IT Developer
SERGIY SYCHEV
Sergiy plays the role of a "cool mind" in the team, always attentive to details in planning and
responsible for strategic decisions.
• His main activity is software development. He’s a family man. Before the start of the
full-scale invasion, he was not involved in military affairs.
• "It is very important for everyone to find their place in this war now. You can already
do a lot of things with your own hands, and not just wait for victory," Serhiy confirms these words with
his activities.
•In the summer of 2022, he completed his first military training. After a long search for
information, people and opportunities, in the fall of 2023 I decided to take FPV piloting courses. This
practical piloting experience was a good start and the basis for starting to make drones on your own.
Later, he got acquainted with the "Victory Drones" community and completed the pilot training course
"People's FPV".
•At the end of the training, Serhii already had the necessary experience and knowledge and
joined a group of like-minded people, with whom the first few dozen drones were successfully assembled,
configured and handed over to the military. It was there that I met Valentina, another part of our team.
•The creation of "Freya's Workshop" is a natural new stage of development for the hero of
this post. It arose from a related desire of a group of people to share experiences, to have a concrete
result, to teach, to inspire, to empower and to be realized.
Coordinator, communicator, engineer, SMM
VALENTYNA ROVENCHYN
In civilian life, she is a front-end developer, DJ, artist, real hedonist and hippie.
• “After the full-scale invasion, I had a strong desire to do something really important to
bring real benefits.” She supported her lover, an aerial scout, and really wanted to become more
involved in the topic in addition to volunteering.
• In December 2022, she completed her first military training and later joined the training
community, whose participants learned to assemble their first FPV drones together. There we met Sergey,
our chief engineer.
• Valentyna planned to hand over the drones collected at the expense of donations from
relatives and friends to Angelina, our ideological leader.
• This is how the main composition of our team was formed.
• "I consider it necessary for everyone to find "their own" now. Sometimes it's very
difficult to start doing something on your own, even if you really, really want to." This is the
opportunity Valentyna sees in the project, to support and motivate each other!
• Freya's workshop is real magic for the heroine of our story! This magic embodies the
experience and desire to create a friendly community where those who want to continue the struggle will
be able to realize their aspirations and together with knowledge and skills, will receive the necessary
support.
Volunteer and instructor
Tetiana Tymoshenko
“This is more than a hobby. It’s my contribution to my children’s future — and my way of supporting
my husband, who is currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
• Tetiana is a mechanical engineer by education. She once studied how to recycle waste —
and now she helps “recycle” the enemy. She started as a student herself, and now she teaches others: how
to solder, assemble drones, and assess build quality.
• She finds inspiration in watching her students’ confidence grow with every drone they
successfully complete.
• “I’m here because I can’t just wait. I want to act. This workshop is where I found
like-minded people — where everyone works toward a common goal: victory. It’s important for me to see
the real impact of my work, to know that our drones help guys on the front, and that our students will
multiply their number.”
•Tetiana dreams of celebrating her birthday in every regional center of Ukraine — and doing
it before retirement.
Learning coordinator, instructor
Lilit
At the Freya Workshop, Lilit is the learning coordinator: she supports students in developing
engineering skills and repairs damaged "birds" before they return to the unit.
• She has completed military training, tactical medicine, and drone engineering courses —
and now she passes this knowledge on to others: veterans, active-duty soldiers, and their families.
• For Lilit, it’s not just about teaching — it’s about giving people a new profession,
restoring their confidence, and helping them contribute to our shared victory.
• “I’m inspired by the chance to be part of the vital process of veteran reintegration —
and by the deep ideological meaning behind creating FPV drones.”
• What brought Lilit to Freya’s engineering space was her dedication to quality work that
brings real results.
• “We’re all just drops in the ocean — but together, we form great power. What seems like a
small action at first can lead to a big, shared result. The true strength of this country is its people.
I believe in our flourishing Ukraine — in its rebuilding, its strength, and its future.”
